Neon Dash
Terms of service
Last updated: September 20, 2026
These terms cover your use of the mobile game Neon Dash and its online features. Neon Dash is made by Amirus ("we", "us"). By playing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't play.
- The game is free to play and yours to enjoy for personal, non-commercial use.
- Coins, crafts, weapons and other in-game items have no real-world value and can't be sold or exchanged for money.
- Play fair: cheating, exploiting bugs and offensive player names aren't allowed.
- How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Who can play
You need to be at least 13 years old to use the online features (leaderboards, cloud save, friend challenges and live races). If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install Neon Dash on your devices and play it for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute the game, or reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law specifically allows you to.
Virtual items
The game has virtual items such as coins, crafts, paint jobs, weapons, upgrades and season pass rewards. They're part of the game, not property you own: you have a licence to use them in the game, and they have no value outside it. They can't be traded, sold or cashed out.
We may change how virtual items work, for example to rebalance prices or rewards. If the game ever sells anything for real money, we'll add the terms for those purchases here before that update is released.
Your account and player name
- The game creates an anonymous player account the first time you play online. You can also link a Unity account so your progress follows you to other phones.
- Keep access to your Unity account safe. You're responsible for what happens in the game on your account.
- Your player name is shown to other players. Don't pick a name that's offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else, or contains personal information. We may change or reset names that break this rule.
Fair play
You agree not to:
- cheat, including using modified versions of the game, bots, or tools that change scores, speed or game data;
- exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage (please report them to us instead);
- interfere with the online services, other players' games, or live races;
- use the game or its online features for anything illegal.
The server checks scores and rejects impossible ones. If we find cheating or other breaches of these terms, we may remove scores, reset progress, or block access to the online features.
Online features
Leaderboards, cloud save, challenge ghosts, live races and weekly events run on Unity Gaming Services. We work to keep them running, but we don't promise they'll always be available or error-free, and we may change, pause or end any of them. Live race results depend on each phone's connection. Your progress saved on your phone keeps working offline.
Updates and changes to the game
We may release updates that add, change or remove features, content, events or balance. Some updates may be needed to keep playing online.
Ownership
Neon Dash, including its code, art, music, text and design, belongs to Amirus or its licensors. Third-party assets are used under their own licences, listed in the game under Settings > Credits. Sharing screenshots and videos of your own play is welcome.
Disclaimer
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or that the game will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Amirus isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for any loss of virtual items or progress, arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.
Ending your use
You can stop playing at any time by uninstalling the game, and you can ask us to delete your online data on the Delete your data page. We may suspend or end your access to the online features if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll also say so in the game. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
